MLB 2020-2021 Offseason

Kinda weird that people don't talk much about baseball here

Padres trade for Blake Snell
Now they are reported to be in talks for Yu Darvish

They already have Dinelson Lamet, Zach Davies and Chris Paddock. Not to mention Mike Clevinger who will miss this season. And Adrian Morejohn and MacKenzie Gore...

This is going to be a good, and fun, team in 2021

Sounds like the Padres are the favorites to land Kim as well, solidify their 2nd base.

Padres also sign Korean infielder Ha-Seong Kim

The Padres seems pretty set at 3B with Machado and SS with Tatis Jr.
Then Cronenworth is no slouch at second

ZiPS projections for Kim as a 3.5-4 WAR player over the next four years

Yu Darvish and his personal catcher, Caratini, to the Padres for Zach Davies and 4 prospects

The Padres have set themselves up well. Actually very well

Not only do they have a stacked team for 2021...and the next couple years.
They have some expensive contracts coming off the books at the same time their younger players will be getting expensive. And they still kept their best prospects.

The NL West should fun for the foreseeable future. Well, not fun for the Giants, DBacks and Rockies who look like they will be looking up at the Dodgers and Padres for a while.
