OOTP MLB What If Series

Hi Fellow OOTPers,
I recently kicked off a YouTube/Twitch Simulation series of MLB What If Simulations using OOTP 21. I plan to Live Stream OOTP Sim on selected Sundays from 8:30-10pm ET. I wanted to try and sim match-ups between past MLB teams that have never met in a particular scenario, like a Championship Series or the World Series.

My questions to the Community is now: Any match-ups ideas you can you think of to Simulate? Any post-season series that have never happened but should? Any historical match-ups you'd like to see?

I have two good ones in mind already but I'm curious if anyone has other ideas. Let me know and maybe I can simulate that match-up!

I'd suggest a Phillies/Mets match up - maybe 2007. The two teams are rarely in sync for having a good squad, so I do not think they have ever met in the post season since that was possible.

Really? Philles/Mets haven't met in post-season? Wow.

In that vein, yes a Phillies team with Howard/Utely and crew in their prime against a mid 2000's Mets team would be fun. Maybe the 2006 Mets vs the 2008 Phillies? I'll have to do some digging into the Stats around those years.

Streamed Games 4 & 5 of the CUBS/WHITE SOX WORLD SERIES last night and the Cubs pitching absolutely DOMINATED! Matt Clemett and Mark Prior both combined with the Cubs bullpen to pitch back-to-back shutouts! Clemett racked up 9 K's and Prior 10! An absolutely stunning turnaround for the Cubs in the series. They have all the momentum now going into Games 6 & 7.

The replay of both games is available on Twitch.tv for the next 14 days.

The CUBS have taken the series lead now 3-2.

After the White Sox crushed the Cubs 9-0 to even the series in game 6, The Cubs held out for a 4-3 win to take the series in game 7.
