Which baseball leagues have simpler contracts/roster rules?
So, still not quite completely comfortably to throw myself into the MLB with all the contract and roster stuff, which I struggle to get my head around.
Are there any leagues that don't have such demanding contractual nuances and roster management? I was thinking of the minor leagues, but then you'd have the situation with players being called up and sent down constantly. Is it worth playing in a lower level league, if so what do people recommend? Cuba might be cool! |

Try early MLB with only a reserve roster.

Aside from disabling different rules like the above two posters have mentioned
You can play as the manager only and allow an AI GM to worry about all that roster stuff You can also play as the GM and assign some tasks to an AI assistant. |

In addition to the options mentioned above, you can modify virtually everything about any league, even if you're playing with the modern MLB. You can turn off a lot of the roster rules that the MLB uses, turn off free agency or make it more difficult to qualify, or just use available settings to make everything simpler or less frequently invoked.
