Minor League game log shows the wrong year

I just finished a season and moved into day one of the off season.

I noticed that one of my minor league player's game log showed the wrong season - one year in advance.

It's currently Oct 28th 1993 in the game. However all minor league players' game logs show 1994.

Players, who played in both MLB and the minor leagues show MLB dates of 1993 and minor league dates of 1994.

Minor leaguers' season stats show 1993.

I think this just started since the game moved into the offseason. I feel like I would have noticed it if it had been happening all season.

I searched the forum, and found one other instance of a user reporting this, but no replies

League settings > Stats and AI - Historical year shows as 1993.

Any thoughts as to why this would happen? The aesthetics bothers me, but I could live with it. I'm more concerned about any other problems that may arise because of this.

Restored the game from an earlier version

The games, the same games, all show 1993. Somehow it changes once the off season starts.

They aren't the same games. The AAA (PCL) games all show 0-0 scores in the first set of screen shots. I assume this is because they are in the future - in 1994. The game is looking for the box scores, but they haven't happened yet. Just somehow the year if off by one.
