Game Video Question

I am relatively new to this. I have been playing each individual games and when I did at first the players would move around the field. You would see a pitcher go through throwing motion, batters swing runners and fielders run. Now I started a new game and the video has totally changed. The players don't move. All you get is a ball marked G or F moving and nothing else. Ive tried switching the view section in the game but that doesn't do it. Does anyone know if there is a control somewhere so I can go back to what it was? Thanks.

In the settings menu for the 3D sim there are options to speed up or slow down animations and play by play. Its a bit of a long shot but try checking there to see if somehow animations were disabled. I would go into more detail about where to find it but I don't have the game in front of me right now and I cannot find it in the manual... I believe it is in the far right tab on the lineups screen between hitting play game and starting the 3D sim. It is also available during the simulation under settings somewhere in the top right.

Thank you. I went there and on my screen there is in the middle of the screen "General Game Options" under that there is "Viewing Options" and under that 3D Animation Speed which It is set at slightly fast but it is greyed out (one of only a few options that is). Is that what might do it and is there someway to activate that? Thanks again.

Hmmm. That confirms the issue but I don't have any other troubleshooting tips for you. You can try submitting a bug report on the support forum with a copy of your save file

Post a screen shot of your viewing options settings in the pregame screen. Should be able to help figure out the problem.

I posted in the other thread some tips. The 3D is disabled since what is described is the 2D-only ball animations.
