I want to move current OOTP21 game to another computer?
I am having memory issues with the PC which I play OOTP21 and it won't close properly because there isn't enough memory so how do I go about moving the game to another PC.
My knowledge of computers is somewhat limited so saying moving one file over to another PC in the exact same spot won't do me any good(seen this response on Reddit). |

Can you do this w/o an external drive? I can move music from one PC to another one w/o problem. |

How do you move music from one computer to the other? This may help find a solution.

You can use any sort of cloud drive (Dropbox, iCloud, etc.), which is how I assume you moved your music. Just be sure to COPY it from the original computer to the cloud drive, then write down the file location of the files on the original computer. Find that file location on the new computer and copy the files from the cloud to that location on the new computer.

I don't exactly remember how but it was from media player to media player.
There was no external drive used in the process. I would have to try to look it up on my PC on how I did it because it was over a couple of years ago. I think the PCs have an ID because they are registered in my name as being my computers. |

The only other option I would have would be make space on my PC so the game would work properly.
I might have to set it back to factory settings. |

Please get yourself a USB flash drive. They're under ten bucks for 64 GB on Amazon. 64 GB is enough for a dozen leagues and more.
Stick it into a USB port on the PC, zip up the league file (I use WinRAR, which is free), because that makes the league *one* file rather than a million files and might actually be faster, stick the USB drive into the other PC, copy zipped file onto other PC, unzip into the saves folder of OOTP, done. Dropbox used to be great for storing stuff, but they got all hardcore with free storage a few years ago to the point where I can barely fit ONE zipped version of my Raccoons anymore.

Your license should give you the option to install OOTP on at least two computers. Unless you've modified some of the game's default data files or you have installed mods, you can just move your saved game folder to the second computer and ignore the rest. OOTP will install all of the defaults as part of your new installation on your other computer.
If you've downloaded mods or modified the default files, you can upload and copy them to the cloud using Dropbox or Google Drive and then download them to your other PC as needed. Another thing to keep in mind is that you can put your saved game in a shared Dropbox folder and run Dropbox on both computers. This way, you can play OOTP on either machine and still access and update the same saved game files. You just save and point to your saved game in your synced Dropbox folder and leave the rest of your data files on the two computers' hard drives. |

I need my license key so I can play on another computer.
Is there a link where I can send the request? |

Check your email. There should be an email with your order details and a license key.
If you can find your license key anywhere, here are the instructions to follow: https://support.ootpdevelopments.com...irmation-email |
