Four Goalies on Roster? Euro League
Noob here (but only to FHM)... So, started out as unemployed/unknown HC/GM and ended up signing a two-year deal for $5K for HC Banik Sokolov (Chance Liga - 2nd Tier League in Czech Republic). SOK's parent team is HC Energie. HC Energie has SIX goalies under contract (ages 16-25), and my top goalies was called up, leaving me with four on my roster. Also, of the 24 players on my roster, only 8 are contracted to SOK directly. During 6-game pre-season, where we went 5-1, and determined my starter and backup, we also had a few injuries and needed to bring up players to not only help fill offensive/defensive roles, but having two goalies (all four with contracts to parent team) doesn't make any sense. With a shortage of players, my players are tired and could use a few extra to allow others to rest. What team would keep four goalies? Is there a fix for this? I checked all the other rosters of the 15 other teams in the league, none have more than 3 goalies and fewer players contracted from the parent team (more contracted to them). This seems a potentially big problem if the parent team starts dropping players on me. Help! Suggestion? These seems to be a similar problem with ECHL, which I've experimented with.
