All '1' s playing everyday

I have seen this happen a few different times this season, and can't understand it. The AI plays the worst possible player. Players whose highest rating is 1. As in 1 to 100. There are alternatives on their roster. A few times I have gone in and released the player and all of a sudden a better choice emerges. Just to be clear this is different teams and different players. Is there an adjustment I can make?

Do those players have weird names or heights and weights? Are there a number of players like this in the free agent pool? Have you made some adjustments to your world recently?

Absolutely any player is going to have ratings higher than that. It sounds like there's some data corruption going on in your league.

Unless someone else has a better idea I'd go back to a save from before this started happening if I were you. If that's not possible and you want to keep the league, I'd view all the players in my universe, sort them, and delete all the players who look like that or otherwise look funny. Check staff, too.

The only time I see this happen is if I have a fictional league going and I add a league in a non-traditional area say like the Middle East or Africa will I see high star yet lowly ranked, ie 1s to 5s in the 1-100 skill set, creep into my league.
I do not know how you are playing but I know it took me a good 5 years of league development and expansion for this to happen.

Standard MLB in the fifth season. No expansion etc.

I would say that his stats are pretty good for a player that is 25,168 years old! Something seems off around here.

Wow. Yeah, your data is corrupted someplace. I hope you were not super attached to your team. Always back up your games. Good rule of thumb, some do it monthly in game, I do it about 3 to 4 times in a season and at the beginning and the end.

None of the affected players are on my team. I save and back up regularly. Only one week left in my season, will edit out these players after that.
