online play
I would like to get involved in playing online...how does playing online work? i'm new to the online play so i'm sure there is a learning curve i just dont know what to do to start learning about this...can someone help me out on this?

In my opinion, it is the best way to play OOTP. You join an online league and they will help you get into the league and started. They all have different rules and set ups depending on what you are looking for. I prefer as realistic as possible, so when I joined my first online league in 2015 I looked for a league that was real life players and similar to real life rules. You are the GM/coach of the the team and it's just like a solo sim but with 30 human managers. Feels like fantasy sports on steroids.
Basically, most league "sim" a week at a time and you download the file and export your changes in between sims. Different leagues have different paces. |
