Getting more cards in on the action...

I think it would be fun if every season in PT had different roster parameters, similar to tournaments. One week could be All Cards, the next Gold Cap, then next Live Cards, and so on. This would require players to have a depth of cards that get used from time to time for a full week instead of only in tournaments and it would require players to adjust their teams weekly to meet the parameters. Sure you can stay in Perfect League with your stacked lineup of Perfect Cards, but could you do it using Iron Unsung Heroes?

Just a pipe dream I’m sure, but thought I’d throw it out there...

So what happens to the 90% of teams that haven't been touched since May?

This is obviously bad, but something that might work which I mentioned before are achievement missions based around accomplishments with certain cards that could spice things up a bit for active players.

Couple of thoughts -

Perhaps those teams haven’t been touched because they don’t need to be? And if they needed to adjust every Sunday night they might be more inclined to stick with it.

If they are never touched the AI sets a roster like if a Tournament team isn’t saved. And those teams would eventually fill the coffers of the bottom leagues by relegation.

Achievement based missions would be interesting, but might favor the paying players more - just like current missions do.

I don't think the answer is warping leagues to look like tournaments, I think the answer is making a more legitimate and interesting tourney series that isn't just a sideshow to the main PT league.
