Quick questions
Any answers to the following would be much appreciated:
1. I noticed that if you start a 2020 MLB game and immediately after the game is created you run a complete re-scout, the OSA batting and pitching ratings change. Subsequent re-scouts do not alter these ratings again. Are the originals the intended initial scouted ratings, or should an immediate re-scout be run after creation? 2. If you change the AI evaluation percentage and then re-scout, I noticed that the player attribute ratings (like Contact, etc.) change. This is true even with scouting off or at 100% accuracy. Does this mean that the attribute ratings that we see are themselves a weighted mix of the estimated underlying rating and the analysis of the current and previous two yearsÂ’ stats? 3. Are the re-scout buttons on the Global and Functions pages under Game settings redundant, or do they operate differently? 4. I gather that you shouldnÂ’t be overly influenced by the colors assigned to a specific rating on one or another scale, but I thought that the following was odd: 1-10 scale: 6 (corresponding to 51-60 on the 1-100 scale) is green 1-20 scale: 11(51-55) is yellow and 12 (56-60) is green 1-100 scale: 51-59 is yellow and 60 is green Does anyone know the reason for the inconsistency (particularly between 51-55 as represented on the 1-20 scale versus on the 1-100 scale and making 6 green on the 1-10 scale when 90% of its composition is yellow on the 1-100 scale)? |
