Got the 50 Game Hit Streak achievement, lost streak as a PH

Steam says only 1.1% of players have the 50 game Hit Streak achievement so far this year. The player is in my fictional league with nothing extraordinary ratings wise, 61 contact career .309 hitter.
This did not unlock credit for the 40 game hit streak Silver Steam achievement and I still haven't unlocked it.

I have ai sim regular season games and regret not jumping in because he ended up being used as a pinch hitter and went 0-1 in a 9 run blowout loss losing a 50 game hit streak which obviously would not have happened in real life.

It reminded me of previous OOTP versions where you could interrupt auto play for certain milestone possibilities. I could have seen him being used as a PH and sent him back to the dugout. I looked it up and turns out that feature was last available in OOTP 6 as far as I know. Just need to manually manage when get a hit streak that long. He went on to hit in 4 more games that he started, so at least he didn't quite get DiMagio's 56

I was just happy I got the 50 game achievement, would have been bad if it happened on game 49. I considered manually managing games when I saw streak hit 40 but didn't want to mess up his ai mojo he had going lol.
