Anybody else notice this?

the first season of my franchise is always pretty smooth. But it seems with every year i play, the slow downs get worse. After i sim a game before it saves it, there's a delay while "prace space bar to interupt" to sim just 1 game, i find myself waiting a minute or so, which isn't necesarily unbearable, but none-the-less an annoyance. I didnt' notice this in last years version.

I have argueably a top of the line system.

Amd Athlon 2200+
768 DDR(PC2100)
60GB HDD
Nvidia GF3 64MB Graphic Card.

i can play pretty much any latest games with my system.

i was wondering if maybe they plan on releasing a patch to "smooothen" the game out some.

any input to this? any tips maybe to speed up the game a lil bit?

Are you generating a box score and game log for each game? Turning that option off might help speed things up.
