Thumb Drive OOTP21 Games
Hello All,
I had to do a clean reinstall of Windows 10, and thought to save some games from my previous installation of OOTP21 to a thumb drive before I did so. I thought accessing these games once I had done the re-installing would be a simple matter of moving the old games from the thumb drive to a saved games folder in newly-reinstalled OOTP, but apparently I was wrong. I'm sure there must be a fairly simple way to access the old games, can anybody out there tell me what it is? My thanks to any and all who post... |

It really should be just that simple. What happens when you try to load the saves?

One thing to make sure of is when copying the saves, that they don't get put into a duplicated folder somehow.
When copy pasting, if you put it one folder too far down, it might look like this, and the game won't be able to read the save: C:\Users\Lukas\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 21\saved_games\New Game.lg\New Game.lg For the game to read the save, it should be in a directory like this: C:\Users\Lukas\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 21\saved_games\New Game.lg

Thumb Drive OOTP21 Games
Hi Lukas,
Thanks for your interest in my question. If I may ask the question in a different way: I have some saved games on a thumb drive. Is there a folder or folders on my computer to which I can manually move the game files so that the files will be recognized and opened by the game? Or must I use the restore function to recover the games on my thumb drive? Thanks Lucas for your input. |
