I am having a major problem. I want to make Satchel Paige (created by me) a starting pitcher. In college he was a starter. When I drafted him, the game made him a reliever. I took control of all organizational functions, but the game still reverses all my major league and minor league decisions. How do I have control of all changes?

What happens when you move him into the starting rotation (for whatever team he is on)?

As soon as I finish the game, he is reclassified as a MR. If I demote him to AAA (which is where he belongs) he is promoted. If I change him to SP, he is put back as MR.

Go into game strategy for him.

Lock player at current level (if that's what you want).

Force play at Starting Pitcher

That should do it.

Don't forget to move him into the rotation as well, then he should stay there.
