Sortable Player Stats
When I go to "sortable statistics" I generally use custom views I put together such as "Relievers" and I hand pick the stats I want to see on screen for relief pitchers only, like % IRS, Saves, BS, etc
My game is always typical MLB as the overrall setup. When I an in sortable stats and use one of my custom views, I have not seen "subleague" under "filters" for some time, something I would need as a filter so that I can look at only NL players or only AL players in a given stat view. In the back of my mind I think I was able to filter by subleague yrs ago, am I wrong about this?

Well, seems I was mistaken.
Did some searching on the forum and found posts from back in 2006 indicating you cannot filter by sub-league. Would be nice if you could. Is there an in-game way in an MLB setup to sort only NL or only AL players to review sortable player stats ?

You can create a filter with choices like
Team (short) is NYY or Team short is CWS or Team short is TEX etc. etc. until you list all the A.L. teams and then save it. Then do the same for the N.L. and save with a different name. It will take a while to set it up initially, but once you get it done and saved then you will have it from then on. |

Thanks.
That is a long "work around". Would be nice to do it more directly.

Yeah, a bit of a pain. But shouldn't take more than 5 or 10 minutes and then you're done. Maybe someone else can come up with an easier way. I thought you might be able to choose AL or NL as league name, but they're all listed there as MLB. I'm always monkeying around with different views and filters. I really love that they made that so much more customizable this year.
