Babe Won't Leave The Field
Hey PT Players,
Have you ever had a player that will not leave the field? I have Babe 1923 in LF/RF and I have a late inning replacement for him. It never works, All of my other late inning replacements go in and the substituted players leave the field accordingly. Not Babe. He won't leave the field. Poor Gary Maddox. Kaline, or O. Charleston has to turn and run back to the dugout with their head hung low. Anyone else encounter such disrespect as a manager? On a serious note, has anyone seen this before? This has occurred 10+ games. Nothing in his player strategy would prevent him from being lifted. My infield switches and other OF switches work just fine.

Hi Daves,
Do you mean as an alternative line-up spot for him? I have, but I use Ted at DH based on his poor glove. When Ruth would not come out of the line-up for a defensive replacement playing LF, I moved him to RF to see if he would come out of the game there. Nope. I may try him at 1B just for fun and see if that works. I am toast in my current league anyway. Thanks for the reply! Chief Illini

I've noticed issues when a defensive replacement player is put in more than one slot.
