Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketball 2020
Has anyone played this? Looking at some screen shots and just wondering if there’s the option to use real teams and players? I’ve had this idea of creating a league that would start with teams from different eras, eg. Magic’s Lakers, Bird’s Celtics and Jordan’s Bulls But also the modern day Warriors and LBJ’s career arc, amongst other classic teams. Wondering if I could do that with this...?

You can also start a game at some point in the past. It's a great game, and I highly recommend it, but I have difficulty with some parts of the game screen because the fonts are just too darned tiny. I really really wish they would use a slightly bigger or "heavier" font for these sections of the screen. I love the game but can only play it for short periods of time because it just causes me to very quickly get eye strain. I wish they would issue a patch to just make the font in those troublesome parts of the screen easier to read. I have never had that problem with OOTP baseball. Or with Fast Break Pro Basketball, even though Fast Break occupies maybe half of my computer screen. With a text-based sports management, part of the appeal is the stats. If poring over stats gives you eye strain, it's very frustrating. I'm not playing on a laptop; I have a desktop computer with a monitor with a screen size of something like 20 inches by 11 inches. I use it all day, every day for work. I also recommend Draft Day Sports Pro Football 2020, but I have the same problem with that game and some of the fonts it uses. Maybe at age 63 my eyes are just too old for these types of games. But I would guess that a lot of people who prefer text-based management games instead of arcade sports games are older people who just love making trades, building a team, and poring over stats.

It's a good game but needs live play by play.

Hi everyone. If you don't have DDS Pro Basketball 2020 yet, we are having a contest over at GM Games. Instructions are pretty simple and pain-free. Thanks everyone.
