Game Won't Start - Linux

The game will not start for me today after an OS update. I am seeing the "crashed_on_startup flag is set" message. The game has worked for me up until today with only rare crashes over the past two months.



I am launching from Steam. Overlay is off.

If you at least have the game running again, I'd recommend going into the 3d settings and trying different OpenGL modes, in case one of them works better.

You might also need to disable or rollback your latest drivers as mentioned in that thread if you haven't already done so.

Good news - I was able to get it working after setting my graphics mode to "NVIDIA" per https://blog.system76.com/post/61686...popos-2004-lts. I was previously in Hybrid mode, and experience the problem regardless of whether or not I used the "Launch Using Dedicated Graphics Card" option.
