restoring earlier save without a backup

it possible to restore an earlier save without a backup?

I made the mistake of setting up an entire league with 48 teams and then moving on to the inaugural draft without picking a team and the whole damn draft went on without me.

Ideally I'd like to go back and redo the draft. Is there any way to do this?

unfortunately I did not make a backup

If you've saved the game after the draft, I don't think so

If you haven't you can use the task manager to close the game without saving and you can can open it again from wherever you last saved

Your only hope is that your previous auto-save was before you made the league. Go to your league folder in your documents/OOTP 21/(your league name)/auto-save. Copy the dat files there. Go back up to the league folder and paste the dats over the ones there.

This will revert you to your previous auto-save. It will work if your last save was before the league's creation.

Alternatively, you could force all the teams to release their players, clear league history, and schedule a free agent draft.
