Import Random Players From All Eras With Fictional Players

Ok, a while back I made a fictional league and simulated it's entire history from 1871-2020. Now, I wanna make a new league, but use the players from the first fictional league and have them debut at random points. Essentially, I wanna do the "Import Random Players From All Eras" option with players from my first fictional league. Is this in anyway possible?

I'm not sure if this would work, but when you ask the game to import random rookies from all eras it asks for a database address. If there was some way of getting it so the player database you want them drawn from can be put here it may just be what you're after. However someone a bit more tech- and OOTP-savvy would have to confirm / deny the viability of this.
