Question on Bidding

Just wondering how anyone can place a bid with less than 5 sec remaining and outbid you by only 1pp on a 30,000+ PP bid where the total is a really obscure amount like 32453 and the previous top bid was less than 30,000?

I can see someone trying multiple times, but only one bid?

I'm realitivly new and would like to know as I prefer to bid rather than pay silly prices.

the highest bid always wins by the second highest plus one

Worked out better for me......got same card late for just under 4,000.

Because there's the 'are you sure' window, you can load a bid for whatever bid you think will win, and hit submit with about 10 seconds left. You then get the 'are you sure' window, and you hit yes with 2 or 3 seconds left, and if you put in the high bid, you win.

You can also just put in the highest amount that you are willing to pay for the card at any time. If that amount is the high bid, you win.
