1984 Cubs Roster - Where is Rick Suttcliffe?

Hi Everyone:

Brand new to OOTP. Purchased OOTP21 last night. Was setting up an exhibition with the 84 Cubs and Tigers. Noticed that Rick Suttcliffe is not on the 84 Cub roster. Am I missing something? I looked at all the roster screens, including the reserve players and can't find him. Hard to imagine the 84 Cubs without Suttcliffe...

Any ideas?

You can always use the search to find a player

According to Wikipedia: In mid-1984, Cleveland traded a struggling Sutcliffe to the Chicago Cubs for Mel Hall and Joe Carter.

Fredrocker is right. Sutcliffe didn't get traded to the Cubs until after the season had started.

If you set up an exhibition, you should have the option what roster set you can use. I believe there is a choice for "end of season". Sutcliffe should be on that one.
