Perfect Team vs OOTP21

Not sure to understand exactly what PerfectTeam is ?
Is it a secondary game (online) totally disconnected from the main OOTP21 ? or are the two games somehow linked (and if yes, how?)
Thanks

It is a secondary game totally disconnected from the main OOTP21

It is a card-based multiplayer game. It uses the same simulation engine as OOTP21 to produce results.

How complex is it compared to OOTP21 ?

It's like how some games have a single player campaign and some kind of online component. Perfect Team is like OOTPb for the daily fantasy players. You can even spend real money to buy cards. As Perfect Team is based upon all of the players being playing cards instead of the standard realistic ootpb setup.

Now you don't have to spend real money to have fun as you also gain in game points for completing achievements and winning. Thee points can buy more cards on auction or buy "packs" of cards.

Perfect Team campaign has all of the OOTPb game mechanics the only difference (its a big one) is anything to do with player personnel its a weekly "fantasy like" instead of normal MLB player personnel CBA rules.
