Best teams league
Is there a league already created by using the best version of each MLB team (ex. 1998 Braves, 2009 Rockies, etc.)? If not, how would I create this by importing historical teams?

Start a fictional league. You can fill it with whichever historical teams you'd like.

But does someone already have a list of those teams?

OK. I've tried doing a Custom League, then selecting the 30 Best Teams, but then all the teams are assigned with Fictional Logos, pictures, etc.
Do I need to do a historical league? Or is there a way to global update all of the logos, images, etc.? I just want a MLB level with 30 teams, picking from the historical version of each team of their best record (ex. 1985 Blue Jays, 2018 Red Sox) What is the best way to do this?

Doing that doesn't give Real Logos, pictures, etc.

While that's true, all you need to do is go to each team's settings and you can select the real logos, set the colors, and import the correct ballpark. That's for full season plays.
Alternatively, if you set up a tournament, the game automatically assigns the correct logos - even the correct year for each team. If you have Silvam's mod from Steam, it will ALSO assign the correct ballparks! Hope this helps! I know it's a bit of extra work for full blown seasons, but, the work IS worth it. And, as stated, tournaments do all of the work for you. Best, Beatles |

How do you setup a tournament with a Custom League? Create the League first, then use it for the Tournament? That only allows for 24 teams. Can you create a 30 team tournament?

You can pack in up to 70 teams in the Historical Exhibition feature. I've never run it with more than two at a time, but that appears to be the maximum.
You could run two 64 team exhibitions (one top half, one bottom half) using my handy dandy 128 Greatest Teams of all-time (sorted by Pythag W-L% [column A-J], with teams matched up in four brackets of 32 [column L]). Take the top two brackets, and play it out all the way down to the finalist, and the bottom two brackets all the way to that finalist, and have the finalists square off in an epic battle for all-time baseball supremacy. Shoot, it's more fun than a good ole game o' Parcheesi. And if you act now, I'll send you this gorgeous set of ginsu knives absolutely free...And...I'll even throw in a couple of Gotham Steel frying pans for the low, low price of $0.00. Operators are standing by. This offer won't last forever, and once it's gone, it's gone.
