Lost Titles?
One of the things about Version 2.5 that bugged me was the problem with titles/championships vanishing. One minute Earl Walls is heavyweight champion of the world, the next minute he isn't. I'm starting to wonder if it has something to do with trying to continue my AU from the previous version, the alternate universe I've been running off and on since time began.
Has anyone who is using a newly created AU come across this problem of disappearing titles? Cap

It was happening to me every time I switched universes and then switched back (all newly created). It happened every time. While I don't recall it being mentioned as part of the last patch, I have never had it happen again since that was loaded.

I've experienced the loss of titles when switching universes. Very frustrating.

This has been happening to me for years and still happens to me quite a bit. It happens when I switch universes, when I run tournaments, when I run the auto scheduler, and when I've done some mass fighter editing. Its gotten to the point where I plan extra time to go back and recrown my champions before I begin a session. Not the end of the world but sure is a P.I.T.A! I've also had to basically negate certain functions from new universes I create (auto shceduler, tournaments, etc) because I don't feel like going back and recrowing. The only randomizing I am able to do without champions being stripped is through the fight card.

I do not have titles pass to the winner by virtue of ticking the pre-fight box.
Because I use a screwy system (1 logged fight and 5 un-recorded) to determine a fight to the finish winner (I have to edit all results), I mark the champions through assignment after the fact. I would bet that is why I don't have the problem anymore. It's a PITA though for sure.

Most unfortunate. I had hoped the problem was at my end.

I think the vanishing titles may be a result of altering organisation names. If you have an existing AU and you add a new organisation, do your champions lose their titles?
