How much will I net if completing all live collections and selling all the rewards

I closely tracked collection costs for the live missions for two different FTP teams (one completed them about a month ago and one completed them two weeks ago).

Since I didn't sell all the cards, I calculated a "value" for each collection based on actual selling price of the players I sold and a "value" for retained players (that being their AH price at the time). Adding up those figures gave me an overall value for each mission. Both teams ended up with around 160k in value for completing all the live collections.

And looking at my spreadsheet I notice I didn't include the Yogi card or the extra historical pack, so add 40k plus around 2k to that. So ultimately the end "value" for me was 200k. Wow!

Just so I’m clear, that’s what you netted after the cost of the live cards?

Nope.

As mentioned I said that's the "value" I got from completing the collections - which is a mix of selling and keeping.

For instance, I've completed all the missions and both teams have Yogi, Yaz, Maddux, Mussina, Lyons, Suzuki, Johnson, Blyleven, and Cano. One team has Bagwell, one has Nathan, one has Snider, one has Tulo (and so forth). So both teams still have an assortment of the rewards.

You can figure out what I'd have in PP if I sold all those players today on the AH and that's what I would end up with today. But of course I've been spending PP along the way so I can't calculate with certainty how much PP I'd have if I did this.

But you can!

There's no question that completing these missions are a moneymaker, regardless as to what you do with the rewards.

The one thing I hate about collections is all the live cards I can't sell. They clog up my roster screens and unless I'm going to play tourneys at a certain level, are useless.

So don't do the live missions and don't collect 200K in value.

I think if you started in entry pool on next Monday with $100 invested in points, you could finish the whole thing by Wednesday. At that point, you could sell off 13 of the 39 reward cards and earn absolutely astounding amounts of PP rising through the ranks in subsequent weeks. I think about 300K plus or minus 50K depending on how lucky you are with gold achievements AND you would have a team of players worth 200K.

I actually think the value is a bit lower more in the 100-150 range. I might be wrong though.
