Dumb PT Rookie Question

This may be posted somewhere else, but I looked and didn't see it...

I see a lot of guys with 3 teams in their signatures, or talking about having 3 teams for different strategies. How does one create a second team in PT on the same account? I'd love to play with an all live team, or a defensive specialist team, or an all Braves team, etc. on the side.

you log out of your account and create a new one using a different email address and a different user name.

** make sure you start the team(s) as close to Monday morning as possible, if not, later. Maximize the entry pool goodness

New User? Register! <click it. 3 teams per license, so you could create two more (if you wanted to).

You'll need an email to associate with your new team, and the account name is (usually) something easy to remember, like your email addy without the @ and everything after it. BobFromOhio@gmail.com => BobFromOhio account name.

Password, something easy to remember or lots of numbers and symbols if you're paranoid, Team City and Name--whatever you want.

Rip your six packs, set up your team, submit and wait. After a bit you'll get placed in the Entry Pool and the games will commence. As noted above, Monday is generally considered the 'best' time to start a new team.

Entry Pool lasts until Monday next, at which time your team will be auto-promoted to Rookie.

Suggestions!
Save your free 1k PP, don't rip any packs or buy any players until you hit Rookie. If you let it build up for a full cycle (Monday to Monday), you'll have the max possible PP to spend. Plan your purchases ahead of time, and go for offense first. Loading up on offense early and ignoring pitching for a while will (tend to) maximize your PP generation for the second week. Rinse, repeat.

Purchasing players directly from the auction house tends to be more efficient. Or you could go with the Gambling Addiction and buy packs, hoping the RNG Goddess smiles down upon you. Do you feel lucky?

In the long term packs are a money-negative strategy. But it is possible to score the huge card early... decisions, decisions.
