Working on editing my final few fields and updating the world.xml file.

32 team league (2SL/2D/8T) with a mix of real and fictional players, 3 levels of minors, and 128 ballparks with custom field patterns done in the Ballpark Construction Kit. It'll be a work-in-progress as I start adding more grasses, different dirts, more backgrounds, and new stadium sections become available. Eventually, I'll add custom sounds as well.

Hint, hint...I'd be more than willing to be a guinea pig for anyone modding new stadium sections or ballpark layouts...

Ran a test season on a backup and watched a couple of games...I'm pretty excited. Back to GPS/Weather/tweaks today.

A small setback with GPS data, easily overcome. Yada, yada, yada...

Good news? The 2d pix are ready. All 128 stadiums are ready. That XML file though...ugh. Also, I've got to learn skyboxing and do some traveling to pick up panoramas. The UP is pretty <<ahem>> large. Sadly, with our Governor's XO, extensive travel is unlikely for a while.

Should I release ASAP and update XML/skyboxes/sectors later?

This is Grand Hotel Stadium on fabled Mackinac Island, home of the best fudge in the known universe and the Mackinac Island Bikers.

I would love to have one single QS and not have to worry about adding files later on. Take your time Ty, we can wait. Make this league perfect, it sounds awesome!

Just archived the beta for uploading to my cloud backup...and it's 3.5GB zipped already. Those 3d stadiums eat up some real estate...

Jerseys & Logos are finished as well. I'm down to needing GPS/population data and 2d pic's for the minor league stadiums. Skyboxing will require some extensive travel, and given that our Governor is <<ahem, ahem>> locking us down tightly, those WILL wait until the virus is no longer a threat—I am in one of the high risk groups.

3d stadiums are complete. 2d ballpark pix are complete. The test run shows the schedule working correctly. Jerseys and caps are complete.

Working up the remaining GPS data in world_default.xml. Then it's double check time. Release should be quite soon. 5.6GB unzipped...but thats 2d pix, uniforms, 128 3d stadiums from the Construction Kit with custom fields, and a boatload of Michigan added to the world default file.

Really looking forward to this Ty Cobb! I've tinkered around and put a Michigan league together myself, but not nearly the detail that it sounds like you've put into yours. If I ever get mine to a place I like, maybe I'll post it as a quick start. I've got mine set up as a 2 league/3 divisions per league - Upper Peninsula vs. Lower Peninsula. Again, thanks for taking the time to put this together!

yields an improved look for Bay de Noc Ballpark. Sadly, I can't do nighttime shots until I get out and make my own 360 panos.
