Gonna Say It Once and Then Forever Shutup

How does a team with a roster sporting 4 Perfects and 22 Diamonds get to play in an Iron-level league?

(And of course, I'm frustrated, cuz I'm in 2nd place in his / her division, 13 games back before the end of May.)

This team you are going against is probably not as good as what others had to deal with at the lower levels. This happens a lot.

Thanks for shutting up about it.

The regular OOTP game is a perfect alternative for you. You can control everything to be just the way you like.

Since the game puts all players in competition with each other - F2P and P2P - There's "always" going to be a new players who immediately spends $500+ on his team the first week. A $500-$1000 team at Rookie Level is simply going to grind up the competition.

That said, the worst of this scenario happens at the beginning of the year. As time goes one and teams find their own level, it will only be the occasional new "whale" that will be "passing through" as it goes, on his way to Diamond or Perfect.

If the Devs crack down a bit more on the tankers, in combination with the new Pyramid scheme, it will certainly be better than our experience with PT19 and PT20.

Every single report we've gotten so far in PT21 has been actioned by a member of the dev team and the auto team submit script has been working. When we said we were committed to improving TOS enforcement, we meant it

What is the "auto team script"?

(I'm trying to get up to speed and learn!)

This would be a script in the game to identify tankers/cheaters. Of course no details would be released as it makes it harder for the tankers to find a way around it. Hope that helps.

I've learned the hard & rude way to not pay attention to that, suck up the losses & move on. I love teams that are so stacked Cy Young is the closer & Mike Trout is the bench guy. And people wonder why some teams tank it. I think teams should be able to tank with out being kicked out if teams are able to be whales in iron, rookie, silver, bronze leagues. As soon as any of my teams I have now reach Perfect League I'm shutting PT down. I don't belong there & should never be promoted there. My teams are good enough to win games but never win championships bc I just can't compete with whales

Have no fear, you never will. I may not either having spent a fair amount of money. Be happy where you are. I have 6 teams. One spent a grand, the others nothing. Enjoy the game and stop worrying about everyone else. There are at least two former whales from 20 that went FTP and seeming having a great time and I thought about it and very well might join them next year.

Thanks, but can you elaborate on actioned? What is being done?

I will not get into specifics as actions taken against specific reported teams is not something we discuss publicly.

But essentially a report made against a team ends in one of 3 ways:
- we investigate, find no evidence of wrong doing, the report is closed
- we investigate, find evidence of breaking the TOS and the user is issued a warning
- we investigate, find evidence of breaking the TOS and the user is banned (either because of repeated violations or the scale of the violation warranting a ban)

The thing is, teams aren't choosing to be whales in Rookie. They have to work their way up the pyramid, particularly if they are just joining now. That is the just how things work.

If anyone is actively choosing to be a whale in Rookie it is those very roster-churning tankers whose cause you are championing.

Okay, I see. So it is really up to us users to pinpoint the tankers. The problem is, the active players that report or notice this are moving up the ranks. They don't see the lower levels.

Is there a way you can monitor prior violators? In PT20 I am noticing some user that clearly got away with tanking. If they are reported now can you monitor them in PT21 to avoid this happening again?

There is also automation that prevents tanking, the details of which I will not discuss as to not give any potential wrong doers any ideas and plenty of players file reports in lower levels.

Violations are tracked over all versions of Perfect Team

I don't know whether to be happy or scared?

It seems, when OOTPGO comes out we might get speeding tickets from the app that is tracking our every move?
