lost league file

I am using a MAC book and I completely lost my file. I exported for my league this afternoon and didnt have a problem. I opened the game after downloading the new file and my league was gone. I reinstalled the game and followed directions to download the league file and it still isnt working. I am lost right now. I am also not tech savoy so if anyone can please help me that would be great
