Pop Ups are very intrusive

The pop ups that appear when you start a game - it was fine when they were about patches, and even the odd Perfect Team sale, but now they are for Twitch streams and the like?



Very annoying. I don't want to start the game irritated every time. Could some thought be given to dialing them back please?

With that said, you have the power to turn it off yourself I believe. On the startup screen-lower left-"settings"-2nd tab over labeled "misc"- 4th item down-"latest news from OOTP Dev."- set this to disabled

You do realize thats the opening to the Twilight Zone. I thought it apt considering we play a game that requires a certain imagination.

Thanks for the instructions. Does this also disable the update news? It's not a big deal for me to check the forums manually for an updated version every so often.

This explains the consensus belief that pop-up blockers are useless. Because no one is irritated by pop-up adds
