Game is releasing players that should not be released.

Finished the year 1871 and saw the new rookies go to correct teams but for some reason the game is releasing players from teams on which they played for in the next season.
I think there is setting that i either have on or off but i cant remember.
Nothing is mention in the transaction logs either.
I can resign the players but that might be a little bit of a pain.
I did turn off financials.

I imported my 1871 season from ootp20 and the players stayed on their teams. Not sure why my new league didn't keep them. Tried every setting i could think of. Both on the ootp21 created league and the imported ootp20 league. Players stayed on the ootp 20 but not the ootp21 league. OOTP21 was seeing all teams except for one as expansion teams while ootp20 didn't.
I guess i must have did or forgot something when setting up the new league.
At least i can use my ootp 20 league.
