Playing with multiple human managers

Am I just missing something?

My son and I have a game where we're managing two separate teams. When I play my game. Go to the next day, when he plays his game, it sims mine. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

When you get to the pregame menu (where it shows the lineups for both teams), in the options menu, there is an option for the World to simmed in the background. Turn it to "No, don't simulate in background" to allow you to play out multiple games in the same day.

I have 2 managers and when I get to the Pre Game screen I can't change the setting?
