Upcoming historical transactions in the playoffs...

I'm doing a historical season with the 2001 Oakland A's with Historical Tansactions. When I look at the upcoming Historical Transactions I see a bunch of transactions on 10/15 that say "Granted Free Agency". Does that mean teams in the playoffs will lose players in the middle of of their playoff series if they are on this list? Should I Turn off Historical Transactions as soon as the regular season ends ?

That's when in real life they became a Free-Agent so in Game they will because you can't edit Standings in Historical League.

xr21, I'm the person responsible for maintaining the transactions file.The good news is that turning off transactions will indeed enable you to get through the postseason without losing any players.

The better news is that I've revised the file to prevent this from being a problem in the future. I expect it will be included in an update soon --- and thank you for bringing the problem to our attention.
