Looking to Start a New Custom Online League

Hi all,

Let me preface this by saying that I have not played OOTP or been in an online league for a decade or so, so I am not likely going to be the one to create and commish this league, although I am looking into it and may give it a go. However, given the interest I've seen on here on creating a new league for relatively new players, I wanted to start this thread with some more specificity than I've seen in hopes of attracting potential GMs.

What I have in mind is actually very similar to the WHEBO league posted on here recently but with a slower pace of simulation. I would love to create a league of 24 fictional teams where each owner takes the time to customize their team name and logo, and then we start with an inaugural draft. Some thoughts on settings:

Inaugural draft: Yes, snake style order

General Settings
- 24 fictional teams.
- 2 sub leagues with 3 divisions each.
- Division winners plus 1 Wild Card from each league qualify for playoffs.
- 162 game unbalanced schedule with no interleague play.
- Both leagues utilize the Designated Hitter rule.
- 3-7 days per sim, Sims executed Monday through Friday.
- Injuries set to Extremely Low.
- Suspensions are disabled.

Global Settings
- Current Ratings Scale 1-10
- Potential Ratings Scale 1-10
- Other Ratings Scale 1-10
- Overall / Potential 20-80 scale (increments of 5)
- Ratings over max = No
- Ratings based on players of similar primary position, not overall pool
- Scouts and Coaches are disabled

Roster Rules and Settings
- 27 man roster
- 4 levels of minors: AAA, AA, A, RL (35 player max per level)
- Max contract length is 5 years and will be strictly enforced.
- Player personality and ratings are turned on. This affects contract negotiations etc.
- Player Morale system is enabled.
- Team Chemistry system is enabled.
