Online league with 1 copy of the game

I am looking to start an online league with my friends. Probably 5-10 of us. I believe I will be the only person with a copy of the game as they are tight on funds.

Does anyone have guidance on rules/best practices for a league with 5-10 people using MLB lineups?

I am very web savvy, so I am fine hosting all the files, but just looking for advice on the best way to setup a league like this.

We'll probably start on Tuesday once the beta drops.

you would have to do this the old FPS way. You update the reports so they can look at results and injuries. Then they would have to text, email, IM you the changes they want to make and you would have to manually make those changes before simming the next set of games. That is the only way I see it working and it is the way things were done 10~15 years ago.

Was in an old Fast Break Basketball league where the owner set up a VM running the copy of the game with multiple users (in game) and then tied it to either Logmein.com or Teamviewer.com...

His profile was the only one allowed to sim and each other profile only allowed to view/manage each teams rosters....

Not sure how viable this would be but maybe would work for you... worth a try maybe...

You could always do like my friends and I did in college. We would gather around my computer in my dorm room.

Yeah this would be my hope. I would upload everything and people could submit lineup changes and such over Slack or something. I would run the game in commishioner mode and make all changes.

Just was curious what settings I should use and how to handle FA signings and such.
