Game Crashing

The game starts to crash about 2010. It only crashes during simming. And after it crashes, all the stats of the current year for the league is erased. I have a compaq 800mhz with plenty of free space. Any help would be appreciated.

I just updated my video drivers and updated to directx 9. And it hasn't crashed since. But if it happens again I will let you know along with more details about my PC. Thanks.
