stats on game dont match real players

I played ootp 18 and loved it so i figured with all the new stuff i would love 20, the game plays great, screen is better but on the downside I am finding when I do my historical league starting in 1901 the pitching stats are way off of real life...am I missing anything? anyone have any advice, the scores do not seem indicative of the era...starting pitchers who had a under 3 era have an over 6 era

You won't see an exact match.

It's a "replay", so consider it an "alternate" version of MLB history.

Seems to be pretty accurate for me. Have you played a full season? If so, how did the league totals- runs, batting average, home runs compare to.the LTM?
