I haven't been on here for many years. I remember I made up a lot of title belts and posted many Aussie fighters. I remember Cap and ConnChris and others.

G'day Cap, no mate, I used it about 5 years ago and it crashed and I ended getting a new computer and never got the game again. I'm unsure about what the current version is or how to get it.
It's funny I have a look at my avatar, my 2 little champs are now 28 and 25 years old and have their own kids.
A few years ago my wife had a brain tumor successfully removed but we had a fair bit of time of recovery for things to get back to normal, but things are going good now, and I seem to have a bit more time on my hands these days again.

Sorry to hear of your wife's trouble. Scary business whenever a spouse is ill. My wife's had a few scares herself.

Now that you have some free time on your hands I'm pretty sure you can get hold of Title Bout 2.5 on this forum somewhere. Don't bother with the later version as it is crap. Some years ago a fella bought Title Bout and promised to build a new version but he's a one-man operation with other things on his plate so we've all pretty much decided not to hold our collective breath.

It's nice to hear from you Shane... one of the originals down here!

I didn't play TBCB 2.5 for years because it stopped working with one of the Windows 10 updates. But now, all of a sudden, for no apparent reason, it started working again with no problems at all. But, I'm worried that one day it will once again stop working, and with no support for this version, that will be the end of it. So, it's hard to get motivated to put a lot of time into setting up and running a universe.

Yeah. Wouldn't it be nice if someone with the dough to buy the rights to the game came along and took over? Imagine that. The guy buys Title Bout and hires a team of programmers to produce a new version that would still allow us old hands to use boxers from our current AU.

Shame to see Title Bout die out after all the effort we've put into it. I wonder what it would cost to buy the rights and produce a new version by this time next year?

I tried I spoke to him because of the way he's handled it its worth nothing literally zero
you could just start a game from scratch using sim code and import the fighters from our universe

I do appreciate you trying. It's a shame the way that this has been abandoned. Is that Paul guy doing anything at all with it now?
