The death of great starters

I’m in 2033 of my dynasty have 2 4 star pitchers I’ve drafted nobody great but always see the best pitchers in the league and they maybe will win 150 games for their careers. My pitcher has a cy young 4 all stars and a World Series and he’s 63-61 I don’t see any kershaw or scherzer studs and even scherzer sucked in my sim. I will never trust signing good young starters!

What I usually get over my many franchises is, when I trade for a "high end" pitcher he rarely meets previous stats and standards. This is especially the case with relievers and, more specifically, closers.
