de-activating / activating players
Any chance we can make a player active or inactive with one click again? As of now a dialog box comes up making sure you understand essentially (this will remove player from your roster) ...that you know you are de-activating the player.

General UI design says that any action that's expensive/difficult/impossible to undo should prompt the user for verification. Deactivating is a big deal during the season since you can't reactivate him for 14 in-game days. It would be pretty devastating if you mis-clicked or had lag when you were trying to deactivate your utility guy and you accidentally deactivated your all-star 3B. So that's why a prompt in this situation is appropriate.
Between seasons, when there's no 14 day waiting period, I agree there shouldn't be a prompt - since if you make a mistake you can simply drag the guys around again. So I'd support a prompt when the season is underway and no prompt during the offseason. Since that design might be confusing (and make people wonder "why do I get a prompt sometimes but not other times?") then it seems ok to make the prompt appear all the time. |

Your logical walk-thru is brilliant. But it's just my personal feeling...that one click is fine. I am very cautious with the mouse near my diamonds.

It would be akin...to a DL stint. Instead of an injured hammy, ...you mis-clicked, or had general hardware/software issues, guy's out a couple weeks.
