where is thread or folder for player ratings
There is group of power users who are very strict on what should and should not be in a thread.
Personally I think the title is most efficient and a well thought out title is more important that trying to maintain a long thread that digresses into other discussions. But the 'power' users like to be snarky so I will abide. Can someone please guide me to where the discussions are on the ratings for players. Maybe there should be a folder? in particular i am interested in the wide variation of several ratings between 19/20 and the accuracy of the ratings. Most notable are the intangible items for historical players like speed, baserunning, throwing arm, range bunt for hit etc. While I can live with inaccuracies in PT I prefer regular simulations. I am wondering if the ratings are the same in regular game (i haven't checked). This will allow me to budget my time as to how much work i may need to do alter ratings and figure out a plan on how i can save the rating for different scenarios |

Alright, I have to say that. You open a thread like that and then wonder why you get snarky remarks? That's strong.
Anyway. There is no big ratings discussion thread because the ratings are what they are. Live cards are adjusted weekly via algorithm. Historical cards are just like that, ratings generated from historical stats where available and probably manually adjusted a wee bit here and there. ...and nobody is going to change this and that card just because you say "Player X is rated 70 in that, but he should be at least a 91, because he was the best this and that". *Maybe* if you provide extensive data (the eyeball test is not data) that this and that rating is wrong, you *might* get the card to be changed in this and that way in OOTP 21. Maybe.

Westheim is right, not everyone agrees with every rating but there they are and there they will be, at least until 21.
As to your question, if you really want to post about it, just pick one of the threads you have already started and add to it. You may not get many responses, but who knows, perhaps a like-minded person will chime in from time to time.
