Ouch...
Finished the year in a 3-way tie for the last wildcard spot...won my first play-in game, lost the second by 1 run. I'm not exactly sure what the parameters of how the games are picked, but my opponent in the second play-in game only had to play one.

Re-reading this, I can see that this seems more whiny than I intended it to be. The only softening blow is that it took a great August by my team to even get that far.

I didn't view you as whiny. There was a thread a long time ago about a multi-way tie and its handling, and I just couldn't find it to offer evidence of how it was handled.
Three way ties suck...
