playoff rotation idea
On more than one occasion, I forgot to change my pitching rotation back to a 5-man from a 4-man rotation and only discovered this after a day (or two in one case) later. So I was thinking that maybe this can be prevented by doing the following:
Keep your 5-man rotation, but make sure that you've got "Always start highest rested starter" selected. Then set "Allow SP in Relief" to Yes. Finally, set your #5 pitcher to be used in Long Relief (or whatever you like). Shouldn't this work out better for those of us who forget to change things back? Does the "Allow SP in Relief" option work as expected? It did for me in the past, so I'm thinking this should work just fine for the playoffs, unless it tries to use one of your top 4 SPs in relief, but I don't think it will due to them being tired, plus I don't think it does if you don't give them a role (but I'm not sure about the latter?). It would not be nearly as bad to use this option at the start of the next season so unless it doesn't work like I think it will, this could be a help to some of us.

Or you could just tell your phone to remind you to reset your rotation, that´s what I do.

I think it would work. I wonder if setting a 4 man rotation with the 5th starter in the bullpen as "emergency starter" would work also..
