benched player still playing

This is something that I thought was fixed a while back but it still seems to happen - I scratch Kordic for the 3rd period and he's still out there taking penalties and basically being a liability.

Why do scratched players within the game not get scratched when playing the games out?

If the fatigue situation of the players assigned to lines gets bad enough, the AI will use the unassigned guys, particularly if there's a line with empty spots to fill.
