Spend it on Beckham

For the last couple weeks I had been stockpiling Gordon Beckham cards, hoping for the day he makes that giant leap from 59 to 60. Well, today was that day my friends! A fresh, brand new pack has become the fruits of my labor.

I also have a collection of Cody Bellingers waiting to see if he can jump up to perfect, which he so richly deserves.

Anyone else stockpiling certain live cards for reasons such as this, or have you made out on some already?

I have stockpiled a ton of Chris Davis cards because he started so slowly that you could get him cheap. I figure he will have a hot week or two that will get to 60 at some point. I hope it happens soon though because I hate scrolling through them.

i have some bad news for you.

he has been on a slow start for about 2 seasons now. and is unlikely to ever go to bronze. won't be long b4 Orioles give up on him completely.

Wait, you have 40 Gordos and 25 pp quick sold them for a regular pack? Impressive, what was in the pack?

Picked up a Bellinger last week for 8.5k pp for an eventual "double" quick sell if he hits perfect status.

I really only watch the White Sox and read MLB pipeline prospect reports occasionally (that's all WSox fans have to look forward too). So I'm completely bias but I was able to unload a bunch of Tim Anderson's in AH last week. He's back to 69 though so will have to wait to sell more. Moncada stock pile has been consistently quick sell at 750 or more (several over 1000 most was 1750). Jose Abreu's were cheap a couple weeks ago. (Again very bias) Dude should hit 80 at some point, he's the best hitting 1B in the AL but Live Card ratings he's 73, about the AL 6th best.

From packs I quick sell most Live players who went up or down to 70 (Omar Narvaez) 80 (Eaton, Puig) or 90 (Conforto, Correa) overall. Especially Saturday or Sunday. So much fluctuation every week and those players are saturated in the AH only a few hundred above the quick sell price so people can get a couple extra PP after taxes. Oh and if you've read my posts in the past I have come around to buying packs after this pull from a regular pack

Yeah, I quick sold them this morning, but have not yet opened a pack with the funds.

Love that Trammell...hopefully I'll get one in my Gordo pack!

I don't stockpile any specific players. Mostly I'll check who has been hot among cards close to going up a tier, pick them up and sell on Monday.

This week it was good for 13K amonfg my stockpile and I opened a PEAK Honus Wagner in the packs I get with it. Not bad for a little speculation.

That's filthy. A double-diamond? I didn't even know that was possible.

I don't bother with anyone below the gold/diamond line, not worth it just for a couple hundred profit upside. Did cash in on about 10 joey gallos today, pretty surprised he was still trading around 2500 all week given his massive stats. No real movement towards any new perfects, thought for sure Syndergaard would get back there and I could quicksell back the ones I bought around 15K this week but guess he needs another good start. Then just have the usual handful of the other 97/98 rated guys whenever I can grab one for around 6K.
