Looking to expand my league..
Hey all!
I was thinking about doing a big expansion and I was wondering if it was possible to download different teams, unis, etc. as I'm not super creative! This would be to add to the current MLB setup. And as far as the settings go when expanding (I'm not sure how many teams you can add at once) I'd love some advice. I'd really love to manage a team from top to bottom in a difficult market. Thanks guys! |

Logos, Ballcaps and Jerseys made easy
Dave,
I'm going to make your day. One of my favorite things to do is play with the amazing tools that user Justafan made years ago. The links for each are below. They are extremely easy to use. Find an image via google, go to https://clippingmagic.com/ to remove any parts you don't want and make it have a transparent background (so no white block behind it), and make your logo. Take that logo - or any other thing like a letter for the city or whatever and add it to your uniform for that team. My nine-year old and I made a new league just to invent new teams this way. Expansions and playing GM to a new team is fun but making it your own with the uniforms and logo is a joy unto itself. All that said: Start here and download: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...lename+Builder http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...Jersey+Creator http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...allcap+creator |

Oh, on advice. Even though you can add teams one by one, I'd keep the divisions balanced to help the schedule maker... so if you add 2 teams, I'd do both in the respective Eastern (or Central, or West, etc.) Divisions.
And once you make logos, uniforms and caps, add the logos to the respective folders in the game so you can assign them easily. The logo maker assigns themed colors as a default but if you take the color codes off the logo that will go away (though the colors are logical and derived from the logo). And clipping magic I think is $10 for a month of usage or something like that. But worth it imo. |

Here's some of the logos we made together using the tools I linked you to. It really is fun - even for the not creatively inclined!
Hope the expansion goes well!
