The College Years - Easy Way to Modify Teams and Conferences

I'm hankering for a good college football text simulation, and want to use TCY, rather than Bowl Bound, mainly since I like in-season recruiting. I want to create a fake college football universe, but have found it to be pretty tedious to try to change team information within the game itself.

Does anyone know of a way to modify the teams and conferences in that game through some sort of source file? In Bowl Bound you can do it through Microsoft Access, which makes mass updating a bit easier.

TCY does not allow the kind of mods you're talking about.
