No Opener/Follower Option for Imported Leagues?

In a fictional league I imported from v19, when I go to the player strategy screen, I do not have to check boxes for "Use as Opener/Use as Follower" available.

Is this an issue for anyone else?

Yes, there is a league setting for openers that needs to be enabled first (in the league settings/stats page). By default it's off, which hides all opener/follower logic.

I've been playing this game long enough I should have known everything is optional. Game looks great by the way. You guys are the best.
